Windows XP activation

Hello,

I was cleaning up my computer last night and by mistake deleted some
of the files from my windows directory. They are still in my recyle
bin.

when I restarted the computer it asked me to register and activate the
windows again.

Do you think I must have deleted some licence files from the windows
directory and if so how can I restore them back since it does not even
allow me to run windows so that I can restore it maually by right
clicking on Recycle bin.

Your help is very much appreciated.

MS only let's you re-activate 3 times before you have to go under
the microscope to convince them that you're not pirating
XP.

Actually, it wasn't that bad and I understand their concern
to make sure noone is pirating their product.
