Windows XP Activation always pops up

Every time I turn on my laptop, the Windows Activation
screen always pops up after logging into the computer. I
tried reinstalling my Windows XP a few times and it still
pops up. I also registered my Windows software so it
can't be a piracy problem.

It's frustrating because I have to connect my laptop to
the internet when I want to use it. Also, it's time
consuming.

Any advice how I can get rid of the activation screen
permanently?

Greetings --

Have you actually tried to activate it? (Registration is
something entirely different.)

Greetings --

It also may be that your activation has become "unregistered."
Try this solution, posted by Carey Frisch, MS-MVP:

Possible Resolution:

Boot into "Safe Mode" by pressing (F8) during a reboot.

Go to Start > Run and type: regsvr32 regwizc.dll , and hit enter.
Then go again to Start > Run and type: regsvr32 licdll.dll , and
hit enter again.

Yes. When I check it through system tools, it say it is
activated.

In that case it seems likely that the entry in registry that launches
the 'Balloon reminder' has not been disabled. I think you will find it
if you Start - Run MSConfig.exe and look in Startup for a line having
wpabaln.exe in Command - uncheck it.

If that does not appear, look for the wpabaln.exe file first in
windows\system32\dllcache and rename it; then in windows\system32 and
rename that one. Tell any suggestion that you put in your CD to go away
