Action: A problem has prevented windows from accurately
checking status of lic.
Result: unable to get back to a normal desktop.
Cause: WPA.DBL file may have been corrupted.
Resolution: he can get into safe mode. went to c:
renamed the wba.dbl file that is located in the
Windows\System32 folder to Wpa.dbl.sav. Rename the Wpa.bak
file that is located in the Windows\System32 folder to
Wpa.dbl. Restarted the computer.
did not work.
we did try to see about using his recovery disk to
reinstall xph. did not
work. I Advised
Ramnarace to try calling HP tomorrow as I am not a HP
