Windows XP (32 or 64 bit)

I got a message that I needed to do this patch think and I
went to the link and I have to know if it is 32 or 64 bit
Windows XP. I don't know where to look. All it says is
that it is Home Edition.

From a previous post six hours ago:

First of all, note that there is a 64-bit version only of XP
Professional, not of Home.

Second, anybody who has to ask the question is running the 32-bit
version. The 64-bit version requires special hardware. It and the
hardware have come down in price, but are still substantially
more expensive than the standard consumer PCs you see around.
Very few home users are using it.

First of note that only XP Professional comes in both 32 and 64-bit editions. So you necessarily have the 32-bit edition.

But even if you had Professional, anybody who has to ask the question is running the 32-bit version. The 64-bit version requires special hardware. It and the hardware have come down in price, but are still substantially more expensive than the standard consumer PCs you see around. Very few home users are using it.
 
Basically, you need a system with an Intel Itanium or Itanium II processor.
Not that many manufacturers make Itanium systems, mostly HP (co-designer of
the chip).

Furthermore, there is no 64 bit version of Home. Since she state her
version is XP Home, she has to be running 32 bit.

Furthermore? Please look at the first paragraph of mine you quoted above. It says "First of note that only XP Professional comes in both 32 and 64-bit editions. So you necessarily have the 32-bit edition."
