I have been having this problem for quite a while.
i have 2 computers: one with windows xp pro and the other with windows
2000 server.
I have them both connected to a d-link router.
I have the router connected to my cable modem and then each computer is
individually connected to the router.
they both share the internet connection no problems. I have run the
home network wizard on xp, created the disk and all that stuff.
but on windows 2000 server, they say that the network cant be used on
windows 2000 server.
the weird thing here is that the windows 2000 server (in my network
places) shows me both computers in the network but cant access the one
with windows xp.
the one with windows xp shows me nothing but my websites on msn as the
only thing in my network places.
I even disabled windows firewall on the windows xp comp.
i have made sure that both have the latest service pack upgrades.

I am wondering if theres any thing anyone can do to help me out here.
Thanks for taking tiem to read my problems and thanks in anticipation
of a response

Let's dignose the problem without wasting time with the wizard.

Please start by providing ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open Notepad, make sure that Format - Word Wrap is NOT checked!, Open
c:\ipconfig.txt, copy and paste entire contents into your next post.
