Hoping someone who's more familiar with the vagaries of networking can help
me...

I have 2 computers set up on a wireless network. The XP box is hooked up
directly to the wireless router. The 2000 box has a wireless adapter. Both
connect to the internet just fine. I have sharing permissions configured
properly (as far as I can tell) on both computers. However, though I can see
the 2000 computer on the Workgroup, I cannot connect to it. From the 2000
computer, I cannot even open up the workgroup.

Is there a particular problem connecting to 2000 from XP?

This is either a firewall problem, or a browser conflict. Use browstat to
identify a browser conflict, and read both articles (and linked articles) for
instructions.
