I've had some trouble with this PC before, thought I had everything fixed but now I'm suddenly getting a weird error. After any reboot I don't get any icons/taskbar/start menu and the screen size defaults to 640x480. If I kill explorer.exe then everything comes up, but I get an error in
"/idlist :0:XXX, C:/" where XXX = a number..
any ideas other than FNR

thanks in advance

I am having the same problem. This started immediately after loading the State program for Taxcut. I got a strange message the first time this happened, but I don;t recall what it was.

Has anyone else seen or heard of this? I've never installed tax software before.. weird.
