I am running Win XP Pro. Lately I have been having a problem booting. I will
have to physically disconnect the data and power cables to the hard drive and
then reconnect them. This allows the computer to boot. But today when it
starts to load when it goes between the Dos screen and the Windows loading
screen. It just hangs there. doesn't switch to the Windows screen. When I try
to to a repair with the Windows os disk it hangs on the screen that says
"Setup is analyzing you computer hardware."
Anyy ideas what could be wrong????

This is a hardware failure. Here are some general hardware
troubleshooting steps. I'd start by swapping out the power supply for a
known-working one.
