When I restart my computer I get the Windows welcome
screen and have to click on my name to proceed, with my
name listed as the computer administrator. The guest user
is turned off. I have Windows XP Home Edition. Is there a
way to get rid of the welcome screen and for the computer
to just start? Thank you.

.Hello!
Another way you can do:-
1. Click Start | Run | and type "control userpasswords2"
2. click OK
3. On the Users tab, clear the "Users must enter a user
name and password to use this computer" check box.
4. A dialog will appear that asks you what user name and
password should be used to logon automatically, Choose the
account (which the user wants to automatically login) and
type the password. Click "OK".
