Hello everybody,

I am using Windows Vista Business x64 since few days.

yesterday I installed new sound card driver and some other applications, but
afterward the computer stuck on logoff screen during the shutdown process
for ever and doesn't shutdown properly !

I could only shutdown the PC using the power button !

Does anybody from you encounter this problem before ? and if yes, what is
the solution or work around to fix it ? Thanks a lot.

Cheers,

Safouh

Hi,

It means one of the applications or a service installed by them is not
properly terminating on the shutdown signal. Uninstall them one at a time
and see if the system returns to normal behavior in between each.
