How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or
from the Microsoft Update Catalog:

Store Windows Updates locally for subsequent installations -

You might also want to subscribe to Microsoft's security bulletin so you
will be informed about any new updates and what they cover.

But it is to much work to add every fix to basket. Is there full CD with
uopdates which can work like automatic uppdates.

How about computer new installed which you do not want to connect before
patching. What about security Microsoft is thinking?

Too much work for only 20 PC's? What are they paying you for? ;-) Sorry,
I can't answer any questions about what MS is thinking because I don't
work for them. Basically, with 20 PC's you need to be using a server and
WSUS. The way to lessen the amount of work is to change the way *you*
are administering that network. For new computers, we make one perfect
machine and then image it and apply the image to the others. Surely you
aren't thinking about rolling about more than a few computers without
doing imaging!

Yes, with rest computers (200) we have an image which we use to ghost to
all machines. But what about security, when we install new machine and
to get updates you need to connect it to the internet. You should first
update it offline, like we do with Symantec Antyvirus.
What if you will be hacked before all updates are installed?
WSUS is not a help. With WSUS you run update online, I need solution
for ofline update.

I install AV before I connect to the internet and I always make sure XP's
firewall is turned on. Then I get the updates. I have never had a problem
with this method with hundreds of new installs.
I had a co-worker who neglected to turn on the firewall while connecting the
first time with no updates and was infected within minutes.

Subscribe to TechNet. They have the security updates available in .iso
format or on CD. Updating a new install? It's done successfully all the
time by going online. Make sure a firewall is active and AV is installed
and go online to windows update. WSUS is certainly on option.
