Windows Upgrade

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows that if you had an older version of
windows or xp that isnt genuine, if you buy the xp - vista update when its
released will that eradicate all problems or would you have to buy a full
version of vista?? many thanks

In the past and even now, all upgrades are based on evidence
of having a qualifying product. One should not be expecting
anything different with Vista. If the qualifying product is
not seen or mis-identified because it is counterfeit or a fake,
then the recourse would be the full retail product. Of course,
one would have to wait until Vista is released to see what
would really happen.
