I get the automatic Windows updates downloads. The
trouble is they are not all installing. I noticed this
when I tried to install the patch for the blaster virus.
I get a message that says "Setup could not verify the
integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer". I
don't know how to do this. When I check the history of
my updates it shows that a majority of them since July
28th failed to install, however some of them were
successful. Why would some install and not others.
Somebody please help me. I successfully got rid of the
Blaster virus but would like to get the patch to keep it
and others away. Thanks!

Run this, then try again. Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32
wintrust.dll

I tried your idea and I still get the exact same
results. Any other ideas?
