Windows Updates

How come when I got to microsoft updates it starts the
updcates but then comes up and says failed. No matter what
update if it is critical or drivers it says it failed. I
heard there is a new link and the update page been shut
down for now. If this is true dose any one have a new link
to get the updates?

Windows Update is working. Have a look in the Windows Update.log file - which is in the Windows folder - for any error numbers. If you find any go to the following page and see if those error numbers are referenced:

Hey,
I've had the same problem for 24 hours. Re-installed
the OS thinking something was corrupt and it still
doesn't work. Let me know if you get it working. At least
I found one person having the problem,

Hello BAM,

I've had the same problem for 24 hours. Re-installed
the OS thinking something was corrupt and it still
doesn't work.

I put back a 2 weeks old image file because the update didn't work
anymore...... still no luck :-(
