When you use Windows Update, where do the downloaded files go? I've just used
it and downloaded 13MB worth of updates (drivers mainly) and want to save them
out so as not to download them again if a re-install is required. Ta in advance

They go into a (hard to find, and even harder to access) temporary file,
and they vanish completely when the update is installed. If you want to
keep them, use the corporate update site instead, and download manually.
