im having trouble with the sound on my computer and windows update won't let
me download the necessary updates to get it
 
What update(s) do you think will help with your problem?

What happens when you try to download the update(s)?

Are you talking about drivers for your soundcard? Don't install drivers
from Windows Update; get them from:

1. The device mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.

If this is not what you want to know, then please post back with a
