I cant seem to get any of the windows updates, When I
attempt to dowload them I get a security warning which I
should, so I click the "Yes" botton and it starts, then
it comes up saying that Software Update Incomplete and
lists the reasons why this may have occured, one is that
I selected no when I should of hit yes when promted, but
I did hit yes, the other is that my security levels may
be set too high, well I set all my levels to low and
tried again and the same thing happened. How do I install
these updates.

One of the problems with windows update is that it relies
on annoymous authentication via active x. So when you lock
your system down to prevent annoymous access you also
break windows updtae in the process.

To keep your system up to date just turn on the auto
update facility, which polls microsoft and checks for new
updates/patches. To do this enbale the autoupdate service
in the services control pannel and then right click on my
computer on the desktop and go to properties and select
the Automatic updates tab and setup the update schedule.
