Run your antivirus and go from there.
the message was not official Microsoft and was a cover for
a worm.

Hello again,

I did the download from Microsoft site. So I think it was
not a virus...How to run the antivirus when the system
does work??
Did succeed yesterday to use the F8, but the none of the
options work properly. Then used the reinstall CD-rom and
tried to use the r for repair. The system then asks for
admin password? Do not have one, what should I do?
