Windows Update Site

Hi,
I am unable to access the Windows Update site to check
for updates to Windows XP Home Edition. Each time, I get
a "Windows Update Error" message. Is the site disabled,
or is there some problem with my computer, perhaps?

Hello!
Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WindowsUpdate

Locate the value in the right pane called
DisableWindowsUpdateAccess. Double click this entry and
change the value to 0 (zero) or right click it and select
Delete.
