Windows Update Question

Every time I go to the update page there is an update for Internet
Explorer 7 showing as required, in spite of the fact that I am still
using V-6. I finally put it in the 'don't bother me anymore'
category, but I'm curious why it kept showing up as it was an update,
not the full program.

IE 7 is only around 14 MB & can either be installed via Windows Update or
visiting the Microsoft IE website
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx)

There is an application that blocks IE 7 from being downloaded/installed.
You can download it here:
