Windows Update - Local LAN source

Hi:

I know you can download the Windows Update catalogue to a
local network drive. Is there a way to make Windows
update point to that drive to get the updates instead of
downloading them from Microsoft everytime

There is a free download from microsoft called Software
Update Service (SUS) You can setup a server to download
and deploy the updates.
