During Windows Update the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool fails to
download and install and the error code I'm getting doesn't make any sense:
Error Code: 0x80072EFE
Try to install the update again, or request help from one of the following
resources.
When I look up that error code it is related to SharePoint Portal Server
install...!?
Any suggestions on how to solve the problem?
.... and yes I do have a genuine, registered copy of Windows XP with SP2
installed on my computer.
