I receive the following error message while trying to run
Windows Update:

Windows Update Error

Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot
display the requested page.

Select from any of the following pages for information

I've tried installting Windows XP SP1a and also modified
the registry as instructed without success.

I'm running Windows Home Edition.

Hi - Here's a link to the Windows Update troubleshooter, which is very
useful:

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

After you've used the troubleshooter, if you still have a problem,
please repost.
