Windows Update (ERROR 0x800A138F)

I'm unable to access the windows update pages. After it
scans for updates it comes up with this window:



I get the following error message ERROR 0x800A138F. I'm
running windows XP Home Edition. Do you know of any
solutions to this problem?

Hi Tyler,

0x800A138F is a generic error, we need something more specific.

Open Windows Explorer to C:\Windows and locate the windowsupdate.log scroll
to the bottom and look at the last error codes. Post back with that they
are.
