Have 2 hard drives- am trying to uninstall from 1 drive to Win 98 but Add/Remove states that XP cannot uninstall because original drive letter has changed and requires original configuration to effect. Can anyone Help

Try formatting the drive? Is there some reason you can't?

XP is already installed on that drive and do not want to lose data etc.
Have tried uninstalling in safe mode but same "no can do" maybe reinstalling XP may do the trick?

The uninstall files are purged when you make any changes to the hard drives.
i.e. adding a new hard drive, partitioning, resizing a partition, converting
to NTFS, etc. Your only choice is to backup your data and clean install 98.
Click on or copy and paste the link below into your web browser address box.
Remove XP and install 98/Me
