How can I configure where XP tries to get the time for
synchronization?

More information:
Corporate firewall will not allow time synchronization to outbound
servers. I want to specify computer name or IP address for my desktop
computer. A registry key to import into other computers would be great
also.

Place your cursor over the clock (bottom right task bar) Right click. On The
menu which appears select Adjust date/time. A calender and clock will appear
..Select Internet time.Make sure automatically syncronise wait an Internet
Time server. default is time.windows .com In the UK try ntp.demon.co. uk -
other countries do a web search for NTP servers. Network Time Protocol
servers. Hope this helps.

Further NTP servers are configured to use Port 123 so enable this port in
your firewall if you are authorised to do so!

I figured out what to do. I just put the host name of the local server
in the Time Server field and it works. Thanks.
