OS: XP Home +SP2
Machine: SONY VAIO laptop PCG-F340
FileSystem of C: NTFS (converted from FAT)

When I hover the mouse cursor over the C:\WINDOWS\Temp
folder, XP says the size of the folder is 332MB.

When I view the contents of the C:\WINDOWS\Temp folder,
(with "Show hidden files" on), the contents add up to <
2MB.

Is there any reason to be concerned?

Hi

From a command prompt, change to that folder, then type the following:

dir /a/s/

to see what is in the folder.

dir /a/s showed the following surprise:

a file called 9i91zj9c.TMP, 347MB in size, among others.

Please, what's next?

del 9i91zj9c.TMP came back with cannot find file
UnxUtils' rm command did delete the file.
Thankyou for your help.
