You apparently bought an OEM machine with Windows preinstalled (Dell,
HP, etc.). Naturally, the OEM doesn't know who will eventually buy the
computer so when they set it up, they make a generic user account
called "Owner". When you first set up your machine, you just used that
user account.

If you want your own user account with your own name on it, you'll need
to make a new one. You can copy the data/settings from Owner to yours.
Here are links to walk you through it:

You will need to log into the new account once before you can copy
anything to it. Since you have Home Edition, basically you'll go into
Safe Mode, log into the normally hidden Administrator account, go to
User Accounts applet in Control Panel, and make your new personal user
account. Then, still in the Administrator account, you can do the
copying.

To get into Safe Mode, repeatedly tap the F8 key as the computer is
starting up. This will get you to the right menu. Navigate using your
Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here. Once in Safe Mode, you will
see the normally hidden Administrator account. The default password is
a blank.
