Sam

Recently I have seen a MS System box pop up on the
computer telling me that NT Authority\System will be
shutting down my computer in 60 seconds and the counter
begins, my computer is shutdown and restarted. Whyd oes
this happen? HELP!!!

Some useful info: I have had Windows XP Professional for
one year and I have had no problems at all. I only use
my computer for word processing and to check my e-mail
and once and a while go on a few websites. I rarely if
ever download anything.

Thank u

Yea thats what ive been dealing with its fun im going to
try to find it and kill it but if not im going to do a
system roll back i would advise you do a roll back go to
www.microsoft.com and you should find out how there in
the knowledge base

Do you use your computer enough to download, and apply, all current
Microsoft updates? Didn't think so!

Hi Sam,

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Recovery/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Close Windows Explorer, run the edit on line 257 which includes the prompt
for the patch once your system has been cleaned. This script removes all
variants of the W32.Blaster.Worm (original, b and c) and will inform you
whether or not the patch is already installed.
