Windows Subsystem

why would the windows subsystem need to access the
internet??? My firewall gave me a message telling me
windows subsystem was trying to access the internet, I
have never had this message before and am confused.
Any help in the matter would be great.

Windows has subsystems, it is not a subsystem.
Just exactly what are you being told ?
