Hi all,

i have a problem with my computer using windows XP , while working
when i click to open a file it takes a long time and then shows all
the screen white and empty.

Everything is in the details. Tell us something about the computer,
in particular the make, model, CPU speed, amount of installed RAM,
video card, type of HD and size, and so on.

And over and above all of that neccesary information, how long has this
problem been going on? Was it always like this, or is it a new problem?

Have you tried a system restore to a point right before the problem started?
Where there any updates applied in this time through windows update,
possibly a video driver update?
