Ive installed XP home on my Hard Drive... Ive almost ran out of space but I have to create a larger partition. Is there any way I can save my files and settings so that when I install XP fresh I can have it the same as it is now?

Joe, you can look into Imaging software such as Drive Image by Powerquest
and Acronis True Image.

Greetings,

The Files and Settings Transfer Wizard can help there...

Insert your XP CD,
Choose Files and Settings Transfer wizard
Save your details (that may be the tricky bit) somewhere

Then AFTER new install,
Insert your XP CD,
Choose Files and Settings Transfer wizard
LOAD your details from where you saved them.

That way, you can do a FRESH install, and keep your settings.

Note that this method does NOT keep all your PROGRAMS- reinstall will be
needed for most.

Greetings,

If you just want to resize the partition,
try BootIt - you can try it for free for 30 days.
