Windows Service Pack Setup

When I start to install updates from the windows update page, I get the
following error: "Windows service pack setup has encountered a problem and
needs to close". This happens right in the middle of the installation for the
update and it cannot complete. Can anyone help me here? Thanks

There are two files it points to in my temp directory..
\Temp\WER0437.dir00\update.exe.mdmp
\Temp\WER0437.dir00.\appcompat.txt

Reboot.
Delete everything in the temp folder, but not the folder itself.
Then try again.
