I've never had a situation before where a window pops up and asks me to log
onto mail.comcast.net. They want a user name and password. My windows mail
has 2 accounts. What gives here? why is it doing this, which account should
I put in there and how can I get rid of this nuisance?

Did you set up the Comcast account(s) under Windows Mail using Comcast's
instructions?

it's comcast, not WM,. it is just doing what is requested of it.

It isn't clear to me whether you want both accounts, or whether they
are duplicates of each other. If the latter, delete one.
