Now why couldn't you find that? <VBG>

I have the same problem and I don't have any anti virus programs installed
yet on my laptop.
The problem is that Windows Mail fails to remember my username and
password.
I've tried to resolve this two ways:
1) by selecting "Remember my credituals" when the Windows Security appears
and prompts me for my username and password. Next time I run Windows Mail
again, it will prompt me for the same information again. It's as if
Windows
Mail never remembered my Username and Password in the first place. Once I
enter the Username and Password the program works fine. It's just
annoying
because I like opening a progran and not having to log in at all. Windows
Mail apparently offers this feature but it's not working for me. And
apparently it doesn't work for lots of other users after reading many
threads
is this forum. If you don't believe me, do a search under "username,
password, remember creditituals". There's lot's of threads on this
problem.
2) under the Tools/Account/Properties/Servers tab I select "Remember
Password", then hit Apply, and then exit. Surprisingly if I were to check
this tab again, I will find the Password field blank. That doesn't make
sense. Who erased it? It didn't stick apparently?
