I just renewed my Norton Antivirus, but I still am getting the Security
centre alert to ensure my antivirus software is up to date. Any Thoughts?
 
Your version of NAV is prior to NAV 2004. If you have 2003 or earlier you
will have to upgrade.

Not so. I've got NAV '02 on 2 SP2 desktops and '03 on a laptop. Both are
fully updated and the Security Center is set to notify me if the defs are
not current.

Hi

If you are not able to get the Security Center to recognise Norton
fully:

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way
Security Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.

For Norton 2004 products:

After installing XP Service Pack 2, the message "Your computer might
be at risk . . . " appears

For Norton 2005 products:

I think Norton 2005 have a tamper proof setting as default, and this
cases the Security Center to not detect NAV 2005.
