Windows Security Center - Files?

I created an image using XPe SP1, and more recently updated the
component database with SP2. The image was recompiled and dependencies
were resolved.

When I get past the FBA, I noticed that the Control Panel icon "Windows
Security Center" does nothing when you click on it.

Question: How can I add the files to the existing targets without
rebuilding/redeploying the image?

I have found the following files:
- wscenter.mof (WMI MOF file)
- wschelp.chm (Help File)
- wscntfy.exe (Tray notification)
- wscsvc.dll (Windows Security Center Service)
- wscui.cpl (Control Panel applet)

Am I missing any others? How can I manually install the security center
service?

Finally, what component should I have included in the image to get the
Windows Security Center to work from Control Panel?
Thanks,
Desi Richards

Desi,

"Security Center" under "Software : System : Security : Applications" category.
Exploring the component and its dependecies (quite a lot) will give you the answer on what files/reg.entries need to be deployed.
The component includes the missing control panel applet.

Again, thanks, Konstantin.

I managed to find the required pieces so that I could copy a set of
files and then add some registry changes under the services branch and
add the wscsvc service to the netsvcs svchost group... The short
version is that I got it working. :)

Anyway, I find it interesting that these are not added during the
upgrade to SP2. They put the firewall in automatically, but neglected
to put in anything that allowed me to manage it.

Desi,

Well.. It was probably a trade-off for MS.
You don't want to blow up the image size by just upgrading to SP2. :-)
