This error along with this message started showing up on my XP Pro machine: dialog box is entitled "Windows Product Activation" --- Some system files are missing or damaged. You cannot log on at this time. Please use your installation CD to reinstall or repair windows. Error Code: 0X80040507.
I have reinstalled windows twice and tried to logon without success. Do anyone know how to fix this? If so, could you please respond to my email. Thanks in advance.
