My Microsoft Plus! screensavers have recently started
getting choppy; that is, instead of continuous movement
(in say, the fish tank screensaver), every minute or two
the action stops for a split second, then goes on. I've
removed & reloaded the software twice and it hasn't fixed
the problem. Any ideas out there?? Thanks!

There could be a number of factions like the programes
you have open at the time of the amount of ram and speed
of the processor.

Hi Stuart-
Thanks for the response. I'm running a brand new PC with
512 MB/RAM, plus the problem persists even when all
programs are closed. Frustrating. I'm running SpyBot to
see if that cleans anything up that might be causing the
screensaver to flinch. Anyway, thanks for your attention--
if you have any other ideas, please feel free to comment.

I have the same problem, And have a 1.6gig p4 and 1 gig
of ram I believe it is the nature of the screen saver

Mike, WinXP Plus Screensavers use a tremendous amount of Resources. Unless
you have top of the line Graphics
Processor and Ram Webshots is a great alternative.

Could an anti virus program be causing the interference and, if so, would it
help to exclude the screensaver from scanning? Just a thought.
