Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Ist there a way to have as many instances of the picture and fax viewer open
as needed? Often I like to have several pictures to view at the same time
and not have to flip through them or start a slide show. Is there a command
line soft switch or something?

Yes, this is the default on my system, however, I would like to have each
file open in a new window. Is this possible?

You may do better with the free Irfanview - an excellent viewer. Try it out
at http://www.irfanview.com
