Windows picture and fax viewer can't view faxes

When I try to view my faxes I get the error "the fax document cannot be
displayed because your operating system does not have a default viewer for
fax documents (tif files)". Yet when I view a picture in my pictures folder
the picture and fax viewer opens it ok.This trouble started after I
installed software for a digital camera. Anyone help??

You can try this...

Click START button|RUN, and type...

regsvr32 /shimgvw.dll

<enter>
