Ok I have been using Windows XP for a little while now.

Now I have my Administrator password set and I can easily use it to login to
the machine. But weird things have started to happen. Even though I use the
correct password and I know no one touched the machine, sometimes on locked
workstation it will say password incorrect. And will refuse to let me back
on. Any idea what is going on here? Even after a restart, this can happen
over and over.

Doesn't this message show when you enter the wrong username or the wrong
password, or both?

First, remember that the password is case-sensitive. Second,
check that the setting for the CAPS lock key is the same for
the time when the original password was created. And if there
are numbers involved, that the NUM lock key is enabled. Third,
type the password with sure and positive key strokes; looking
at asterisks is not assurance of proper password entry.

Well I never checked, I make sure the username says Administrator and type
in the correct pass and it says I am wrong. I restart the PC, Administrator
logs in fine.

I do. I make sure the Administrator is the correct username. Caps lock is
never on. Num Lock is on even thoughh I don'ty use the keypad. And I try the
password like 6 times in a row, slowly, and still no luck.

Try your keyboard on another machine
