Purchased Packard Bell 5044 computer on 14 December 2002, with
documnetation showing that most hardware was 'pre-installed'
between dates of August 2001 and August 2002.
Am currently trying to perform 'Back-up' procedure ,or reinstall,
but there is no CD in with the documentation. Supplier was PC World
in Boston, Lincs - they cannot assist.
Is it possible to obtain another CD please - I am struggling to find a way
round this problem - it is like washing with gloves on !!

Unless you become an XP geek, you'll have to buy a retail XP Pro. Of course,
you can call HP and see if they have anything - maybe a discount OEMXP.

Packard Bell are made by NEC, not HP. (Just so's Dilly doesn't bother
the wrong manufacturer)
