Window's (or control) content to clipboard

Hi

I need a program that can copy the contents of a window to clipboard.
For example: The "Search Result" list to clipboard. Or the list of
choices in a combobox (or listbox). I need to capture in text mode
only, not the files listed, only the names and perhaps other
attributes (columns in a list view or report).

There exists an application like that?

What works for you depends on what you what want to do and also on youw
Windows version.

E.g.: for "Search Results" on XP: try out SysExporter by NirSoft
