Windows Operating system backup CD

My license agreement with Dell allows me to make one Windows XP Operating
System backup CD. However the only instructiions I could find from Dell
support say instructions apply only to systems shipped between12/15/2003 and
7/15/2005. Trying to use these instructions proved that they will not apply
to my computer since I have no "Dell OS recovery CD" file under dell
accessories. Any suggestions on where to find the utility for making my
copy. Dell phone help was unproductive.
