WINDOWS OPENS SMALL HAS TO BE RESIZED

When I open a second window in IE6 by clicking on something in the first window, the
second has started coming up very small and I have to click on the fill screen button
or drag it to fill the screen. How can I get the second and later windows to open in
normal size so I don't have to keep resizing them.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
