windows on dell

I am trying to load windows 2000 on an optiplex Gxa, it wont load. Any ideas of things i need to do or it just wont do it????????

At what point does it fail? Is this a new install or an upgrade?

Please explain it won't load? Is it booting off the CD? Blue Screens at the
completion?

I recall some PC's (and Dell aswell) have an option in the BIOS that
prevents the bootsector from being overwritten. I've known that
setting to interfere with the installation of Windows. You might want
to try that.
