Windows not choosing which version of XP

For some reason, at startup, I get a blue screen that says to insert the
service pack 2 cd for windows profesional edition. I don't have this cd, as
service pack was downloaded onto this pc. I have the option to exit and
reboot, and then choose between Home edidtion or Profesional, and if I choose
home, my pc goes back to normal. Problem is, this happens every time at
startup! What can I do?!
