I'd two domains to join.
One is my company domain and the other is my home LAN domain.
Is it possible for my notebook to join two of these domain mentioned
above?
I would thank all the answers giving by the newsgroup users.
Is your home network really a domain or just a peer-to-peer Workgroup?
In order to have a domain, you must also be running a real server
operating system. Do you have this at home?
To save time, if you don't have a real domain at home and want to use
your home network resources with your domain-member laptop, here is
information:
From MVP Lanwench:
Note - you don't need to change to a workgroup just to access resources
on it. You shouldn't play with your laptop's network settings at all.
Once you've logged in using your domain account (using cached
credentials), and have an IP address on the home network, you can map
drives, use printers, whatnot, very easily - one way, in a command
line:
net use x: \\computername\sharename /user:computername\username <enter>

If you have a real domain at home, then please post back with details.
