Windows & Microsoft Update

Both of these links at the top of my Start Menu do nothing when clicked. To
get to Microsoft Update or Windows Update I have to manually go through
Internet Explorer.

If I right click, say, the Microsoft Update start menu entry, and choose
Properties, I get this:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\muweb.dll,LaunchMUSite

Any ideas?

Microsoft Update entry in the Start -> All Programs menu.

When I right-click on it and click Properties, my Target entry is also:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\muweb.dll,LaunchMUSite

So the entry is correct because IE goes to this page:

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

Try using the Update Troubleshooter on Microsoft's site.
